Ekua King is a freelance photographer based in London, College was where Ekua had her first experience with black and white film ‘I loved the whole process of making an image it was so exciting for me because I had full control of how my image would come out so the darkroom became my second home’. 

Following a Foundation Course at the London College of Printing (now known as London College of Communication) Ekua continued her love for photography by studying Fashion Photography at the London College of Fashion in 2005

Since graduating, Ekua embarked upon an internship with Elle Magazine.  From there, she was asked to return as a freelancer on Elle Collections and has been working as a freelancer ever since.
