I’m not sure how to write his name I’ve googled it and its come up as Houxo Que / Que Houxo
I was walking past the big TopShop in Oxford Circus on Monday and saw Houxo Que/Que Houxo in the window painting so I looked him up.
Houxo Que/Que Houxo is a Japanese painter and graphic artist his work combines urban, graffiti-style art with bursts of fluorescent color. He uses fluorescent paints and black lights to illuminate his expressive, multi-hued paintings.
He painted the work below live during an exhibition called “Exsistence of Light” giving viewers an intimate look into an artist’s process.

Tattoo’s
I’ve been wanting a tattoo of my Grandma’s name for 8 years and still haven’t got it
When I was living in LA for a while my brother who’s got a few Tats said to get it done out there so I went into a tattoo shop on Melrose told the woman what I wanted she drew a rough sketch told me how much it would cost and said ‘my chairs empty right now, lets do it’ OMG! I crumbled under pressure I was so scared I said erm…… I just have to put more money on my parking BOY I was gone I didn’t expect her to say lets do it today, anyway I don’t think I’ll be getting one.

When I was at Uni I used to do Sketch book work which was just ideas, research and inspirations for shoots. Since I’ve left my new sketch book is BLANK because I’ve been using my desktop as a sketch book there’s icons everywhere, so I’m gonna get back on it and give my eyes a well needed BREAK from the computer.
My 2 favorite stories EVER in W Magazine are COME ON DOWN TOWN which was shot in New Orleans and WELCOME TO THE MOTOR CITY shot in Detroit and photographed by Bruce Weber

So after interning at i-D for 2 months and working really hard on my portfolio and LIFE I’m shooting small projects for i-D Magazine YEAH BOi.
To be honest i-D has always been one of the magazines that I dreamt of my work being in and when I saw the spread I was like WOW!! I feel so blessed because I’m doing something that I LOVE and know that one day I’ll be able to go full time and with that thought I’m H A P P Y.
I’ve got a long way to go in my career but this shows me that HARD WORK definitely pays off.
bless. x
